Configure Users who Receive Workflow Notifications for Successful or Failed Postings at the Request Role Level

A Designer can add external users (users who are not registered and cannot log in to the product) or register users in the platform to receive workflow notifications when a posting fails or succeeds for a Post role at the request role level.

To add a registered DSP user to the Request Post Workflow Notification page, select the User ID from the USER ID field then save the record. The DSP populates the NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS and LANGUAGE fields based on the user settings.

NOTE: If the registered DSP user does not have an associated Name, Email Address or Language setting then edit the record and update these values on the page.

To register an external user, enter the new USER ID, NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS and LANGUAGE values for the external user.

After saving the record for either user type, set the SEND POST SUCCESS or / and the SEND POST FAIL check boxes for the user as applicable to the message notification requirements.

A Designer can configure these settings at the scenario role level as well, which allows them to be set once for any request based on the scenario role. After a Designer saves a record at the scenario level, the user is added to the Request Post Notification Workflow page. Refer to Configure Users who Receive Workflow Notifications for Successful or Failed Postings at the Scenario Role Level for more information.

Before performing this task, a dspConduct™ task must be added to the Post role. Refer to Add dspConduct™ Task Request Post Workflow Notification to the Post role for more information.

Before performing this task, the Designer must access the Category Workflow Language Message page once for notifications to be sent. On this page, the Designer can set the email address that sends the notifications for events, including the Posted and Posted with Errors event used with these types of notifications. The default language for notifications is English. If the text of the notifications is in another language, the Designer must add the translated text for that message.

Refer to Create Language-specific Workflow Messages for more information.

Refer to Send Workflow Notifications when a Post Fails or Succeeds for general information.

Users who are registered in the platform and external users can be configured to receive these messages.
