Move Files

A file can be moved from one directory to another. This process renames a file.

To move a file:

  1. Select Toolkit > File/Folder in Navigation pane.

    NOTE: If no records exist, the page displays in add mode. Otherwise, click Add.

  2. Enter a source directory and file (e.g., C:\ExampleFolder\ExampleFile.txt) where file currently exists in IO COPY SOURCE field.
  3. Enter a target directory and file where the file will be moved in IO COPY TARGET  field.
  4. Click Save; Vertical View displays.

  5. Click IO Copy Overwrite check box to enable it, overwriting the target file during the move process (optional).
  6. Click Save.
  7. Click Move File; a confirmation message displays.
  8. Click Ok; the IO Copy Source file is renamed to the IO Copy Target.
