Assign Catalog to Custom WebApps

Catalogs provide a way to populate and administrate translations, help text and alias values at the WebApp level and the page level. The Platform is delivered with catalogs that can be assigned to custom WebApps.

To assign a delivered catalog to a WebApp:

  1. Select Admin > Customization > WebApp Customization in Navigation pane.

  2. Click Catalogs for a WEB APP NAME.

    NOTE: If a record does not exist, the page displays in add mode. Otherwise, click Add.

    View the field descriptions for the Catalog Extension page.

  3. Enter a value in PRIORITY field.

    NOTE: The PRIORITY field determines the order in which catalogs are searched, if more than one catalog is assigned to the WebApp.

  4. Select a catalog name from CATALOG ID list box.

    NOTE: Catalogs are managed under Admin > Translations > Catalogs.

  5. Click Save.
