Target Documentation

Use this page to Generate Documentation for Targets.

To access this page:

  1. Access Transform.
  2. Click the Targets icon on the Process Area Launch page.
  3. Click the Vertical View icon for a Target.
  4. Click the Generated Documentationicon.

Field

Description

OBJECT ID

Displays the name of the object as created in Console.

TARGET ID

Displays the name of the target table.

REPORT

Click to view theTarget Documentation Reportspage to view a list of all audit documentation, reconciliation reports, and technical documentation that has been generated for the target. This page also allows a user to download each report.

Generate Audit Documentation

Click to generate the Transform Processing Report – With Audit Fields. This report lists information about the target, including the source, source rules, target rules, target reports and target exports. Each of these includes the object name, a description, an action date, and the number of records included, or, in the case of rules, the number of records affected by the Insert, Update, or Delete rule. Download the report from the Target Documentation Reports page.

Generate Reconciliation Report

Click to generate the Transform Processing Report - Reconciliation. The report displays the number of records exported from the target, and the number of records that were reconciled. Download the report from the Target Documentation Reports page.

Generate Technical Documentation

Click to generate the Transform Processing Report - Technical Spec. This report displays detailed information about the target, Target Source, Target Source rule, Target Source audit rule, Target Source reports, target rules, target audit rules, target reports, target remediation rules and target exports. All list the object name, priority and status. Other details are included depending on the object type. Download the report from the Target Documentation Reports page.
