Add Templates to a Process

A process can have one or many templates added to it but must have at least one template assigned.  When creating a process, an initial template is selected to be assigned to the process. 

NOTE: A process must be inactive to add a template t it. A template must be active to add it to a process.

After the initial template is added, add templates by either:

  • Clicking Add on the Process Templates page

  • Navigating to the Vertical View of the Process page, clicking the Templates toolbar button, and then clicking Add on the Process Templates page

NOTE: When a template is added to a process, Integrate adds the loops for the template automatically to the ProcessTemplate Loop page.

When posting multiple templates for one process post, Integrate processes templates in ascending priority order,

To add a template to a process:

  1. Select Categories from Navigation pane.
  2. Click the Processes icon for a category.
  3. Click the Templates icon for a process.
  4. Click Add.

    View the field descriptions for the Process Templates page.

  5. Enter a value in PRIORITY.

    NOTE: When adding the template, the priority set for each template determines the order the template is posted. Templates are processed in ascending priority order.

  6. Select a template from the TEMPLATE ID list box.

    NOTE: The Template ID list box is limited to templates of the same Type (Synchronous or Asynchronous) as the template selected when the process was created.

  7. Click Save; the Process Template Loop page displays for the newly added template.
  8. Configure the process template loops for that template.
