Security - Excel Integration

If a page is read-only Excel Import cannot be performed.

If a page is Role Secured, and UPDATE USER DEFINITION ON SAVE (Admin > WebApps > Pages > Security Definitions) is disabled, then inserting records via Excel Integration will insert the records, but not display them to the user on the page that is Role Secured.

Refer to Register Security Definitions to Components (WebApps) for more information.

NOTE: Role Secured means that only roles with permission to see records associated with specific keys on the page can view those records.

The user will receive the appropriate warnings when access is not granted.
