Assign a Tag to Tasks

There are two methods to assign tags to tasks, depending on the number of tasks that will have the tag assigned.

To assign a tag to many tasks at once:

1. Select Configuration > Tag Type in the Navigation pane.
2. Click the icon for the Tag Type.
3. Click Assign to Tasks for the tag.

4. Select a PLAN TASK ID on the Tag Plan Task Assignments page.

   NOTE: To select a contiguous range of tasks, hold down the Shift key and select the first and last tasks in the range. To select a noncontiguous range of tasks, hold down the Ctrl key and select each task.

5. Click Add Plan Task.

NOTE: Follow the above steps to remove a task from a tag, and click Remove Plan Task.

To assign a many tags at once to a single task:

1. Select Project in Navigation pane.
2. Click Plans for a project.
3. Click Tasks for a plan.
4. Click Assign Tags for a task.

5. Select a TAG ID.

   NOTE: To select a contiguous range of tags, hold down the Shift key and select the first and last tag in the range. To select a noncontiguous range of tags, hold down the Ctrl key and select each tag.

6. Click Add Tag.

NOTE: Follow the above steps to remove a tag from a task, and click Remove Tag.
